The DGB Charitable Trust was founded by DGB (Pty) Ltd, a leading South African producer of wine, as its primary vehicle for corporate responsibility projects. It is operated as an independent charitable trust which is registered as a Public Benefit Organisation with the South African Revenue Service.
The object of the Trust is to initiate and manage charitable projects with an initial focus to address educational needs at primary school level in the Winelands. The trust will also provide monetary and practical support to the Andrew Murray Childrens home in the
DGB Production heartland of Wellington as well as continuing a long standing relationship of support from DGB to the Johannesburg Childrens Home.
