Strawberry Lips tickles a winning consumer pink with a Fiat 500 Cabriolet

For many South Africans, winning a car is nothing short of a pipe dream. However for Gaye Tegg this dream has just come true. DGB’s leading brand Strawberry Lips today handed over the keys to the winner of it’s national Win a Fiat 500 Cabriolet Competition.

Going to market in leading retailers countrywide, the Strawberry Lips Win a Fiat 500 Cabriolet campaign enticed consumers to buy a  bottle of Strawberry Lips, scratch the necktag to reveal a unique number and sms it to competition line to stand a chance of winning.

After the 11 week campaign, entries were randomly shuffled in an electronic program by professional auditors, selecting Gaye Tegg’s unique number as the winning entry.

Today Gaye and her proud family met with Vanessa Nel, DGB’s Marketing Manager: Spirits, to claim the life-changing prize. As Gaye arrived at the vehicle handover, she was greeted by DGB staff surrounding her brand new vehicle, waiting to embrace its new owner. The winner very emotionally accepted the keys and climbed behind the wheel of her new pink car with a giant bow and surrounded in balloons.

The Mother of two from Durban North brags that the snazzy Fiat 500 will change her family’s life for the better. Gaye shares that she is a huge Strawberry Lips fan and could barely contain her excitement, saying that her friends now believe that people do win competition prizes and are now all entering everything with crossed fingers. I’m lost for words. I’ll never forget this day or Strawberry Lips!” says Gaye Tegg.
